Larry’s Place of Hope will provide the following outreach services:

Case Management: This service will assists clients with linkages to services, navigating the services systems to complete paperwork for community resources and planning. Work to increase collaboration between clients, neighborhood, and community groups within the community.

Outreach - make visits to community site and locations frequent by clients who may be homeless or at risk individuals, including shelters, soup kitchens, etc.

Substance Abuse Treatment– This service provides adults and adolescents Outpatient (Level 1) services including but not limited to: Assessment, Treatment Planning, Individual Planning, Education Groups, Life Skills group, Self Esteem, Anger Management, Family Education, Self Help groups/meetings, Skills Maintenance, Continuing Care Plan and Activities, Crisis Intervention, Mentoring.

Parenting – Provide coping strategies and skills to improve parenting, communication within the family system, relationship building.

Youth Program - Organize sports team such as basketball, baseball, and football. Also dance, videography, singing, and poetry.

Education – provide assessments to assist clients to help link to their educational goals/opportunities.

We will conduct workshops:

Housing Workshops – Develop housing curriculum to help clients learn about housing opportunities in and out of the community, barriers to housing stability, indentifying and providing neighborhood tours to assist clients with their housing goals, tenant rights.

Employment workshops – Assist clients with job search, interviewing skills, resume writing. Assist clients with information/linkage on various job readiness and placements programs.

The following resources and information will also be provided by Larry’s Place of Hope:

Housing: providing information on various forms of affordable housing such as wait lists, availability, tenants’ rights, etc.

Education: GED preparation, financial aid resources, scholarship information, etc.

Medical/Dental: Clinic, doctors, dental information in and out of the community.

Health Care
Currently there are thousands of people in various neighborhoods without Medicaid and healthcare. Larry Place of Hope have been assisting individuals in shelters, in their homes, etc.with information and applying for County Care and other health care services they may qualify for.

Activities:

School Supply Drive
Activities participated: School Supply Distribution: Larry Place of Hope received donations of school supplies from host of volunteers, family, friends, etc to distribute to school children at block parties, activities in various neighborhoods.

Household products: Periodically Larry’s Place of Hope receive donations of household and hygiene products that are distributed to individuals, families, shelters and community events.

Fundraising Party
Larry's Place of Hope will be hosting fundraising events to such as Larry's Birthday Bash, Movie Night, Stepping/Line dancing events etc. to continue to provide services to assist with improving the quality of lives.
